Review: Under Paul Van Nevel’s spell

[...] “Alongside works by the old masters, modern compositions by Willem Ceuleers, Raymond Schroyens and Saskia Macris cast a totally different light on the art of polyphony. Schroyens (1939), with its peaceful lyricism and an excellent mixture of voices, was delightfully calming, but particularly striking and poignant was the new piece by Macris, Soleil, coeur du monde’, a 10-part danse macabre.”
