Eric Ericson Masterclass

Koorbiennale Haarlem
Eric Ericsson Masterclass

The 5th Eric Ericson Masterclass, an intensive 8-day course for talented young choral conductors, will take place in Haarlem between 26 June and 3 July 2009.
The Eric Ericson Masterclass is a collaboration between the Netherlands Radio Choir, Nederlands Kamerkoor and the Haarlem Choral Biennale 5. The 4 previous masterclasses were scintillating, inspiring and impressive. During the 2009 edition, 8 conductors will be given the chance to benefit from the knowledge of Jos van Veldhoven (NL) and Stephen Cleobury (UK), two conductors who operate at the highest level, and to gain experience working with two world-class ensembles.

Between 29 June and 3 July 2009 the masterclass is also open to observers. They will be required to apply to attend. Sections of the masterclass are open to the public.
